Why is a deposit required?

At Mind Body Teeth, we are dedicated to providing personalised, high-quality dental care for all our patients, including those with special needs. Each appointment is carefully planned to ensure that we can meet the unique requirements of every individual. When a patient cancels without adequate notice, it impacts not just our practice but also other patients who may be waiting for an available appointment.

 

The Impact of Cancellations

 

• Specialised Preparation: Providing care for patients with special needs often requires additional planning, preparation, and resources. Late cancellations make it challenging to allocate these resources effectively

 

• Extended Appointment Times: Many of our appointments are longer to ensure patients receive the care they need in a comfortable and supportive environment. A missed appointment results in valuable time that cannot be used to help another patient.

 

• Access to Care: Cancellations on short notice limit our ability to offer that appointment time to another patient, potentially delaying care for someone else in need.

 

Our cancellation policy helps us minimise disruptions, respect the time of all our patients, and maintain a sustainable practice. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us continue to provide the exceptional care you expect and deserve.

We understand emergencies happen. If a you need to cancel due to misadventure or medical emergency, you can contact us directly, and we will evaluate your situation on a case-by-case basis.

By accepting our deposit terms and conditions you agree to the following.

 

• Cancellations made at least 3 business days in advance of your appointment would result in:

 

- Transfer of the deposit to your new appointment time

 

- OR a full refund of the deposit if the appointment is no longer required

 

• Cancellations made within 1-3 business days of the appointment would result in:

 

- Transfer of the deposit to your new appointment time 

 

- No refund available unless in the event of a medical emergency.

 

• Cancellation within 24 hrs of an appointment or failure to attend the appointment would result in:

 

- No refund or transfer of the deposit unless in the event of a medical emergency.
